New book in the mail

Check it out! I bought "The Modern Jewish Girl's Guide to Guilt". It's a collection of short stories. The description on the back reads, "twenty-eight of today's top Jewish women writers tell the truth about all the things their rabbis warned them never to discuss in public". It looks great. I can't wait to get into it.

I'm on a roll...

Two posts in one day! I just had to show off my cool find. I stopped at TJMAX on the way home from work today and came across this cool jar. I thought it would look great full of my flowers. I had no idea that I would fill it up this quickly. I'd better get to scrappin!!

I came across another great find in my very own closet! I have had this great serving piece that belonged to my Great Aunt Molly for years. My mom thought it was ugly, but I insisted on saving it. Doesn't it look pretty full of buttons and embellishments?

My first blog post

Hey everyone!! I'm finally posting my first blog post! I have really been enjoying looking at all of the wonderful blogs out there, so I'm very inspired. Today is the last day of tax season and things are finally winding down around the office. I can actually take a minute to relax and take a deep breath.

This weekend I am traveling to the Wind Sock Inn outside of Dallas for a weekend retreat. My SIL Missi is joining me and I am going to meet two more of my wonderful Willow Trader friends, Lara and Annette. I can't wait!! I will take tons of pictures, I promise!
